Fascial Abrasion Technique Tool

Fascial Abrasion Technique Tool

While its appearance may be daunting, there is no reason to fear Fascial Abrasion Technique Tool (FAT-Tool) treatment. This is a soft tissue mobilizing treatment that doesn’t cause bruising or damage. It can be used to assist with breaking down scar tissue and alleviating fascial restrictions and can be an excellent treatment option for sensitive repetitive strain injuries. It is a quick and effective way to increase range of motion and improve the quality of movement.

What’s involved?

The FAT-Tool is used to scan the tissues and determine what areas present with fascial restrictions. Once areas are located, using the tool, a gentle pressure is applied with the appropriate stroking technique to create a stimulus in specific fascial and skin nerve endings helping to restore tissue tone.

This modality can be incorporated into Fascial Stretch Therapy and Massage Therapy treatments, or selected as a stand-alone option.

All FAT-Tool Therapy is now offered exclusively through Fox Integrated Therapy located at 43 Elgin St. 2nd Floor in Collingwood, Ontario. Please visit the website for rates and to book online.
